Primošten letter sent locally (3.III.44). Price 1600$.
But, what is wrong with this letter:
- Primošten issue is a fraudulent, or at best, a private issue.
- Primošten post office was closed in March 1944.
- The rubber stamp for registration is misspelled.
Misspelled - instead of PREPORUČENO stands PREMORUČENO. Poor knowledge of Croatian language could confirm the theory that Primošten issue was produced in southern Italy in the 1960s.
