Large Vermeil Medal

I am pleased to share that at the philatelic exhibition, Thailand 2023 World Stamp Championship, the manual "Local Issues of Independent State of Croatia" was awarded the Large Vermeil medal (87 points).

I extend my gratitude to everyone who contributed in any capacity to the publication of the manual, especially those who ordered a printed copy or contributed through donations.

London 2022

I just returned from the London 2022 International Stamp Exhibition. Very glad as this was my first philatelic gathering after the pandemic, and another Large Vermeil medal for my 1941 Međimurje exhibit.

SOFIZ II - Online Philatelic Exhibition

Due to the pandemic, more and more events are taking place online. These include philatelic exhibitions, and one of these is the second Serbian national online stamp exhibition SOFIZ II with international participation held in the period of 8th - 17th December 2021.

I am going to participate with exhibits and a lecture. I will notify the details in the following weeks.

Alps Adriatic Philately, Slovenia 2019

Today have spent a nice morning at the Alps Adriatic Philately exhibit in the monastery Mekinje near Kamnik. The exhibition was dedicated to:

• the centenary of the foundation of the State of Slovenes, Croats and Serbs,
• the centenary of the first Slovenian postage stamps / The chainbreakers,
• the centenary of the establishment of the Ljubljana Post Office,
• the centenary of the end of the First World War and
• the seventies of the Philatelic Association of Slovenia.

World Stamp Exhibition in Prague

I spent a nice extended weekend in Prague. Nice weather, city sights and of course World Stamp Exhibition with more than 3000 frames, including my single frame exhibit "The First Croatian WWII Local Issue - Međimurje, 1941" for which I have received 88 points and a Large Vermeil. This is a great success, especially for a specialized exhibit that is not classic material.

Philatelic exhibition in Klagenfurt

For the last couple of months, I have a lot of work in the company, so there was not much time for philately. As you can see, this is also reflected on my blog posts. Well, today I finally managed to find some time to hang out and talk about philately. I went to the philatelic exhibition in Klagenfurt where I met Mr. Hermann Dietz, a great collector of  Montenegro, Croatia, Partisan posts and Concentration camps. As always, I was impressed with his knowledge and his readiness to share it...

1941 MEĐIMURJE, Gold medal

I am happy to announce that I got a gold medal for my "1941 Međimurje" exhibit at the specialized one frame exhibition of the Alpe Adria and southeastern Europe countries in Kranj.
